Feb 9, 2015: Tonight, at City Council, I am very excited to introduce a resolution establishing, "a collaborative Walk-Bike Master Planning process with a vision of rapid transformation of Burlington into the best small city for walking and biking on the East Coast." While this is just the first step in what will be a much larger process of community engagement, I am particularly enthusiastic about the opportunity to make walking and biking easier and safer through the development of a comprehensive, city-wide bike/ped network. I want to thank Local Motion, City of Burlington Public Works, and all of the co-sponsors of this resolution for collaborating with me on this important work. READ IT HERE:
